  • Total vaccinations in this sense means total shots in the arms. Most COVID vaccines require a two-shot regimen to fully inoculate.

This series of time-series charts show the total number of people who have received at least one doseof a COVID vaccine per 100 people in the total population. The United States started off quickly, but the rate has been trending towards leveling off. Much of the rest of the world got off to a late jump but many countries are catching up quickly in administering their available shots.
